I actually began to write blogs like this because I always tell people the exact same stories, and it feels like they're being told over and over again in conversations...whereas if I blog about it then everybody who is interested can read about it without me personally having to tell them and bore myself to death. That way I can keep my stories fun and interesting. Another reason however is that I have a terrible memory, so if I write down everything thats happened to me on the internet, then I can go back and re-live my memories for a bit. I could always write about it in a proper diary like most people, but I am not most people and that takes way to long to do. So on with whatever I have to say....
Right I will begin with mentioning the absolutely amazing holiday which I just returned from last week. My mum has always dreamt about going on a cruise, so my dad considered that he might as well just book one while he can. I tell you now...if you ever get the opportunity to go cruising, GO! Except I recommend going fully inclusive because the drinks onboard are extorcionate. We did that, and honestly, we were treated like royalty all week. Whenever we got thirsty we just waved our hands at the waiter/waitress and they would come over straight away, take our order (which every time was a different cocktail) and then bring it over with some pritzels and crisps for extra. Also whenever we were out of our cabin, their would be a cleaner in cleaning out everything and tidying the place up. Sometimes right enough he would put something in a totally different place that where it was before, so sometimes you would go back and think you're stuff had been stolen. Apart from how we were treated, I could have easily mistaken where we were as being the queens palace because absolutely everything was stunning. The staircases were beautiful, the lifts, the reception, the lounges...even th nightclub was something totally different yet beautiful. You can see a picture of the main lounge named the Tiger Bar somewhere in this blog. So yeeeeeh....we got off at a few stops, which I wont go on all day about because they were all totally different. In order, we boarded the MSC Magnifica in Venice , we travelled to Bari, then Izmir, then Istanbul, Dubrovinik and then back to Venice where we stayed for 2 nights before returning to scotland. I could go on all day about the holiday but I can sumh it up in one word, it was FANTASTIC. Yeh so 2 days after the cruise I got lucky and went a day trip to Blackpool with 2 of my best friends in the whole wide world. It was a good day except some of the rides made me feel sick and we had english "chavs" wanting to start a fight with us over nothing...sorry but I'm not that type of person. But when I came back from their I was shattered, and my dad informed me that he had just booked another holiday to costa del sol. Yeh I'm thinking the same as you probably, he had gone crazy. I actually didn't believe him but it turned out he did. He paid the deposit and then the next day decided that yip...he had gone slightly crazy, so he cancelled it. Funnily enough it wasn't that big a deal because the thought of going another hotel holiday straight after a cruise hadn't excited me in the slightest and I am quit happy with the concept of home for a while.
Oh, I meant to mention...while I was on the cruise I met an Italian guy called Eddy, or should I say he met me...he spoke not one word of English so I had no interest in him at all, and he had to get a translator over to tell me everything he was trying to tell me in some sort of sign language. That was amusing but their was plenty of other males their that I had my eye on whilst away. I must say that Italians are pretty darn something. Some of them did speak english but only a little, but that didn't matter as they were good to look at from a distance.
I'm quite excited for tomorrow as I'm off to see Eclipse in Glasgow! I have waited since november for this!! To be honest I planned on reading the book again before going but it takes me forever to read and I never once got around to reading more than 13 pages.
I've been kinda wondering how you manage to get more views on this site, I mean I love it and all that, but it doesn't seem to do much in the sense of publicity. I do however post links on twitter now and again so all my followers their can read my blogs if they feel like it, but i dunno exactly. If anybody could possibly comment on a way to get some more followers and views then you would be more than welcome.
Anyway I have run out of interesting things to say...I will be back soon with some more stuff to write, but for now I say Chow!
