OMG! It has been so long since I took any time whatsoever to even consider writing something here! So hello! How you been?! Seeing as I haven't posted in a while, lots of stuff has went on so this could either be one insanely long post, or I could do it as two separate ones....but we'll see.
Ok, so you know that I complained here like, a lot about the state my laptop was in? And how it never run how I wanted it too? Well I finally got a new one! And it works perfectly for now and has a built in web-cam and speaker! For any average person that is not exciting, but I got sick of having that rubbish web-cam which always gave my poor old laptop extreme lag.
I'm sitting here just now trying to remember what has actually happened in the last while. I know a lot has, but now that I'm trying to think what they are, I can't remember! Oh know this though, I am officially never returning to school as I am a full time college student. Yip! I am a student! The next stage of my life may commence! And now that I have a college course, I may also have a job very very soon. I have a trial for lush next week as they liked what they seen of me at the recruitment night earlier on. And if you know me well, then you also know that I love lush as much as I love Musical Theatre, so this is a big deal. Not only will I have a good wee weekend job, but it will be a job that I am genuinely passionate about. BUT I DON'T WANT TO JYNX ANYTHING YET! so forget I mentioned it.
Oh yeh, I got exam results too. I was actually quite pleased with them as I got a B for music, a B for drama and a C for english; so that was the results that I was hoping for all year. What really annoyed me about it though was that I failed biology. I mean I knew straight after the exam that I had, but that one subject is the one I concentrated most on when I studied whereas I could have spent more time on the other subjects and got better results in those. Also; although I failed, I really do know a lot about biology. Ask me any question about respiration or photosynthesis and I can give you the correct answer. Its just that in the exams, all the simple questions are disguised within 3 paragraphs and maybe 4 graphs, therefore you spend most of you're time and worry trying to work out what they are actually asking you.
During the summer me and my best friends went camping! That was a crazy trip as every single thing we did was out in the open air. We lit a fire with a splint; we built our own tent; we chopped wood with an axe; we also had to pee outside! That was a fun wee trip and I'm pretty sure we will do it again sometime. I actually had two camping trips this summer as just last weekend I went to the Scottish Young Carer's Festival with all my young carer friends and we camped out their. That weekend was also immense as we had massage's, drama workshops, a silent disco and even a chance to speak to some politicians such as Shona Robinson about how they could help make the lives of young carer's easier.
When I started college I recieved a bursary, and no joke, I am spending it as though it is water! But I'm enjoying myself and still keeping enough to be able to live, and I'm also buying myself lots of new clothes and shoes and un-necessary jackets. BUT I'M FEMALE! Therefore I am allowed to indulge.
Anyway, I can't actually think of much more to say. That wasn't as long as I expected it to be to be honest. I have either forgotten everything, or there really just wasn't that much too talk about to begin with. So I shall let you go and continue to read all the other blog's on this site.
